Volunteers Needed: Kensington Meal Site We need help to run the Kensington outdoor meal site, Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tasks include setting up and breaking down food service, warmly greeting and serving people grab-and-go meals and water, and helping remind people of social distancing. Homeless Services Operational Updates From March 13 to June 19, the homeless assistance system served 5,816 people in emergency shelter; distributed 459,169 shelter meals; moved 416 people into transitional, rapid rehousing, or permanent housing; and performed 535 screenings for COVID-19 symptoms at intake.
